​👕 What to Wear for Riding Lessons

To keep students safe and comfortable while riding, please follow the dress code below for all lessons:
✅ Required:
  • Long pants or leggings
    Jeans, breeches, or thick leggings to protect legs from rubbing on the saddle.
  • Boots with a small heel
    Paddock boots, rubber riding boots, or cowboy boots are perfect. No flat-soled shoes or sneakers.
  • Fitted shirt or t-shirt
    Tuck it in to avoid catching on tack. No loose, baggy tops.
  • ASTM/SEI Certified Riding Helmet
    (We can provide one if you don’t have your own yet.)
🚫 Please avoid:
  • Shorts
  • Open-toed shoes, sandals, or sneakers
  • Crop tops or overly loose clothing
  • Dangling jewelry or accessories
🎒 Optional but Helpful:
  • Riding gloves (especially in colder weather)
  • Hair tied back neatly
  • Layers in winter (thin gloves, vest, fitted coat
👧 For Tiny Tots:
  • Leggings or jeans, closed-toe shoes with a heel
  • Weather-appropriate layers
  • We’ll provide a helmet if needed!
📝 Pro Tip:
​Always dress for the weather—we ride year-round, and our barn can be chilly in winter and warm in summer!
📌 Cancellation & Refund Policy
We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for all cancellations or reschedules.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will be charged in full.
No refunds will be issued for missed lessons, parties, or events.
In the case of severe weather or an emergency, we will work with you to reschedule when possible.
